Father and God (the Father) in Wiesel’s Night as Response to the Holocaust

The proposed paper will begin by looking at the father–son relationship in Elie Wiesel’s Night. I then briefly note father–child between God and Israel prophets of Hebrew Bible. link two challenges evident Night his continuing thought after Shoah—the loss family God, faith and/or understanding God—and how these affect one another. After further assessing father imagery Night, story, eventually making its way into current version played a critical role affecting Christian leaders post-Holocaust Jewish–Christian reconciliation efforts.
